F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions

What the FAQ is Music Vice?
An online music magazine with live reviews from concerts, gigs and festivals, as well as band interviews, live photos and other cool stuff!

Circa 2002-2004 Music Vice existed as a zine and a feature in a uni magazine. Then we moved to the interwebs!! We first went online via www.musicvice.com and www.musicvice.co.uk in 2004. At first Music Vice gave a voice to local bands in north Scotland who got very little or no coverage by local media. Now by 2008 Music Vice is intercontinental and expanding with coverage in Canada and America. We cover bigger shows now but one ear & eye is always kept to the ground and on the look-out for new unsigned bands.

The aim has always to been to provide detailed coverage of live music - from unsigned bands to the biggest artists. We don't cop-out by just giving a rating out of five.

Independent?

Yeah independent. We aren't owned by a big media corporation or anything like that. 100% DIY.

Who writes this stuff?
The editor Brian and a growing team of writers, photographers and others, based in the UK, Canada and USA. Click here if you are interested in being a contributor. You can also help by simply telling a friend about this site if you like it or maybe add a link to it on your blog/Myspace.
