In my defence, I checked out the other shots on display and consoled myself that I was just kinda glad to have been exhibited. Didn't see this one coming at all. Major thanks to Analogue Gallery, the judges, friends who stopped by, and to MusicVice for three good years of indie music journalism.

Yeah I have to disagree about the author’s post…while initially the crowd was a little cold on Foxy, as they began playing I think they blew a lot of people away. After the first few songs, the crowd was cheering them on, at least they sure were at the front where I was! It was a great intro for the energy of the Darkness, and what a great show they put on!

The people who didnt like Foxy Shazam were VERY vocal but overall the reception for them was very strong. I heard many people saying they were watching the best opening band they ever heard.

I vouch for Lee’s answer. He is exotic to music lovers everywhere. It’s not everyday that a brilliant singer songwriter walks into your local venue and start playing amazing songs. Great article. Ive been lucky enough to catch Lee on both USA tours. Can’t wait for the third tour. x

Thanks! Fantastic interview on musical talent, Lee MacDougall, by Music Vice’s, Ngawara Madison (another great musical talent )!! I have enjoyed being able to hear/see Lee, play at least 19 times between TX, London (including last years Hard Rock Calling, Hope he does it again this year *wink, hint*!), Austria, Germany, CA, MO, & Chicago!! Not bragging, but if you get the chance to see this guy more than once, go it’s well worth it!! To those who have not seen him but would like to, it won’t be long til he’s in your area!! Also, FYI Rumur & Lee, Galveston, TX, is home to a real nice European style Grand Opera House, case your interested, I’d love to see y’all perform there!!
