I went to one of their shows in Asheville, NC recently and got the “bootleg” of the show via email. Listening to it you can tell that Travis isn’t quite as “in the pocket” as he is in the studio (don’t get me wrong, he is an awesome drummer!). In his defense they did do a show the night before, so I know the whole band must’ve been feeling the effects. A killer show reguardless; Trivium is one of the best shows out there. But if the band feels they need to move onwards and upwards then we shouldn’t be upset. I’m sure Nick will bring something fresh to the band and a little refreshment once in a while goes a long way when you live life on the road!

Neil, they gave out accesss codes with ticket stubs (ticketmaster emailed them) to download the SB audio off of Trivium.org. you can still purchase them there.

they didn’t give the cds out at the shows. i bought tickets through ticketmaster and some time after the show i got a code to download the show through their website. pretty damn awesome

I dunno why people are bitching and whining about Travis getting replaced, IMO he was good but Nick is a level higher and will bring a tighter sound which is nothing but gd news.
Never knew about them handing out cd’s at shows from off the soundboard, that’s pretty cool of em.
