My Tour - a rock doc video about bands in the MySpace generation
Watch My Tour in full for free from this page. The movie is divided into three parts: Watch My Tour - an independent rock documentary shot by one guy with a video camera. That one guy is Music Vice's very own editor and founder Brian Banks, and it was the first time he'd even picked up a video camera. It's a journey from Hollywood to the Arctic circle, meeting bands and talking about live music in this modern decade of MySpace, the internet and YouTube. My Tour is being debuted for free to the world to watch online via this page. The total movie has a running time of 90 minutes, so it has been divided up into three parts to enable as good as quality as possible for viewing online. Part one features: DIRTY AMERICANS, AUTOMATIC, MISS DERRINGER, VANDERPARK, INAMERE, THE LEATHERETTES, JESSE MALIN, ARMIES OF YOU and THE NEUTRINOS. The opening music is Donkey Work by The Neutrinos. Part two features: MONGRELS, THE NYMPHETS, OZMA and PAPA SMURF (total legend). With travel from Montreal to Toronto to Detroit to UK to Norway!
Part three features: THE THERMALS, ASH, THE DANGERFIELDS and AUTOMATIC, as well as a quick cameo from Pelle of The Hives, and a few other surprises.
