The Chemical Brothers are set to release new single “Swoon” this Sunday, 9 May in the UK. “Swoon” is taken from the Chemical Brothers seventh studio album Further which is set for release everywhere on 22 June. Further will be the band’s first to be released with corresponding films made specifically to match each of the 8 audio tracks. Chemical Brothers - Swoon

Having had a copy of “Swoon” in my hands for the past 24 hours, my thoughts are that the new album title is looking like a clue of what’s in store for the other seven tracks on the record – it seems like Messrs. Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons are set to push the boundaries of their sound further than ever before. It’s only a taster but I know I’m not alone in looking forward to this release, and The Chemical Brothers will be hoping that they score a sixth number 1 album in a row if Further hits the top of the charts in June.

The track-listing for “Further”:
1. Snow
2. Escape Velocity
3. Another World
4. Dissolve
5. Horse Power
6. Swoon
7. k+d+b
8. Wonders of the Deep

Oh, wait, you wanted some tunes to go with the words? Okay, check out “Escape Velocity” below via Youtube, it’s sublime.
