Garbage announce east coast North America dates – Toronto tickets on sale Friday

Scottish-American rock band Garbage have announced east coast US and Canada tour. Glasgow-born singer Shirley Manson will join bandmates Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker on the road as the band tour in support of their forthcoming fifth studio album Not Your Kind Of People. 

Garbage will visit Toronto on to play The Phoenix on 28 May — the only scheduled Canadian date on their current tour. The new dates are as follows, with tickets on sale this Friday, 16 March at 10am EDT via Ticketmaster:

22 May: New York, NY, Webster Hall.
23 May: Washington, DC, 9:30 Club. (DC Tickets on sale 15 March via Ticketfly.)
25 May: Atlantic City, NJ, House of Blues.
26 May: Boston, MA, Paradise Rock Club.
28 May: Toronto, ON, Phoenix Concert Theater.

Garbage’s new album Not Your Kind Of People, is set for release on Tuesday 15 May, 2012 on the band’s Stunvolume label. Not Your Kind Of People will be released in both a standard and a deluxe configuration and is available for pre-order via Amazon.
