Journey Announce Las Vegas Return
Las Vegas has always been a creative hub for rock bands over the years with legendary collectives Guns N’ Roses, Kiss and Def Leopard all playing numerous residencies at some point of their careers at the city’s biggest venues. And in 2015 it looks like it’s the turn of legendary music stalwarts Journey.
The road has been long one for American rock band Journey, and with no signs of the band slowing down, they have just announced that they will be playing a residency at Las Vegas’ The Joint during April and May of this year.
Formed in 1973, Journey is revered around the world for popular singles such as ‘Open Arms’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believin’. The band’s strongest commercial success is said to have been during the 80s when the aforementioned tracks were first released. So fans of the band will be delighted to know that they will be returning to Sin City for a string of dates in 2015.

For more information visit Journey’s official website. Tickets went on sale on January 10, and are expected to sell out before the first date in April. And although the dates aren’t until April and May, the band will be going out on a separate tour in March with the Steve Miller Band.
“The Joint is known worldwide for bringing the biggest artists into an intimate musical playground,” said Chas Smith of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock. While many visit the Joint for some interesting live entertainment, it is also well known for its many forms of casino games including its staple games such as Omaha, Texas Hold’em and Roulette. To learn how to play Omaha or any other of The Joint’s games, there are a plethora of sites that provide insight into casino game rules for beginners. Because there’s nothing quite like enjoying a couple of hours gaming at The Joint’s Double Down Casino before watching an illustrious act such as Journey.
