KoL cut short their show in Dallas on Friday, 30 July after singer Caleb Followill left the stage to vomit. The following day, drummer Nathan Followill took to Twitter to apologise to fans:

All upcoming US tour dates have been cancelled. Kings of Leon are expected to recommence touring on 28 September at the Rogers Centre in Vancouver. Nathan Followill and bass player Jared Followill spoke this afternoon about the cancellation on their Twitter accounts; both denied rumours that the band are breaking up:
“Utterly depressed. It’s completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st. If bass solos & backing vocals were more popular, I’d be there./Thanks to all my friends, family, & fans. I’m not going to stop working. I’m going to spend time writing songs and looking to the future.
