Melvins group shot, 2010
They’ve been around kicking ass for almost thirty years, and with another album out it’s time for another tour – US punks the Melvins kick off their summer 2010 tour in support of their latest, The Bride Screamed Murder, in San Diego, CA on June 1st.   They’ll be hitting a few Canadian dates too, at least for you lucky bastards out west – especially Calgary, where they have two – two! – shows at the Sled Island Music Festival July 2 & 3.

Ooh, geez, don’t go calling ’em “punks” whatever ya do! I’ve already been dragged over the coals for THAT once or twice, hahaha…

PS Nice to know the US has so many cities and venues, but what about us poor, backwards bastards in Australia? 🙁
