My Chemical Romance - art is weapon video shot
My Chemical Romance
are back. And no longer in black.

New Jersey’s alt-rock emo icons have announced their new album via a YouTube video, with the record titled Danger Days: True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

The “Art Is The Weapon” video see’s My Chemical Romance dressed up in colourful, whacked-out outfits in a US desert scene, where the four band members duke it out with some adversaries using plastic Rayguns. The video is like a crossover between Ed Emshwiller inspired retro sci-fi camp and Mad Max insanity.

Danger Days
will be released via Reprise Records/Warner but the release date has yet to be announced.

Emo isn’t dead it’s just got a new wardrobe.
