The presale for Toronto and Montreal via Radiohead’s W.a.s.t.e. website has sold out. The general sale is still to come.
Some people have messaged me on Twitter to say that were able to get presale tickets after refreshing – the ‘SOLD OUT’ disappears momentarily, allowing tickets to be added to the online basket and check-out. But apart from a few lucky ones, it seems the presale allocation has been exhausted.
Radiohead’s website has crashed continuously since 9 am due to the volume of traffic.
Thank you for all the 200+ new followers on Twitter who have been joining in the conversation, and all the emails and comments on Music Vice, as I checked in and updated all night… but in the end, my Twitter overloaded and crashed. When tickets were available, I was able to it through the check-out myself without it crashing.
So you have my sympathy if you couldn’t get a ticket. But remember, ALL IS NOT LOST: the general sale is still to come on Ticketmaster – starting tomorrow at 12pm for Toronto and Saturday at 12pm for Montreal.
It is still my hope to be at Downsview in Toronto photographing Radiohead for Music Vice press review coverage.
Let’s refresh, sleep and try again tomorrow.
