The disaster in Haiti has already seen many events held across the globe as people from all walks of life unite to provide aid and support – tomorrow Toronto plays its part. Toronto Plays For Haiti gig poster

Toronto Plays for Haiti is a benefit gig presented by local radio station 102.1 The Edge and Unicef which will see bands and fans unite at the Sound Academy on Tuesday, 2 February, 2010. The line-up includes The Trews, Ill Scarlett, USS, Moneen and The Salads. Doors are at 7pm and the gig starts at 8.

Donations are ‘give what you can’ but don’t be cheap and misread that for ‘free gig’ because loose change isn’t gonna cut it. Bare in mind that you’d normally pay at least $20 plus fees per ticket for a line-up like this, so please give as generously as you can afford to.
