Canadian Music Week 2016 kicks off on May 2 – Lapsley, Eagles of Death Metal, Wild Nothing with headline shows

Canadian Music Week is back at it again in Toronto May 2nd, through 8th. It will be holding its Digital Media summit on May 5th, its Radio Summit May 5-6th, and the Music Summity May 5th through 7th.

The 7-Day festival wristband is on sale for $75.00, giving you access to all of the hottest shows whenever you want; there are no limits. It also gives you a chance at guaranteeing a spot in their “Win to get in Series”. You will also be subscribed to the mailing list receiving information on pre sales, after parties, meet and greets, and secret shows. For just another $75.00, you could be VIP. This will guarantee you access to three shows of your choice.

Hot artists in this year’s line-up include Ascot Royals, Charlie Hilton, Coleman Hell, Lights, Eagles of Death Metal, Ivory Hours, Lapsley, Love X Stereo, Tegan and Sara, Wild Nothing, The Sheepdogs, X Ambassadors, and many more. All acts will take place in various venues throughout Toronto- well known ones such as The Opera House and Massey Hall, and smaller ones such as Painted Lady and The Cave.

CMW is seen as one of the premier entertainment events within North America, showcasing 1000 bands and artists. Not only does it showcase a great amount of music and entertainment however, it also focuses on the business side of music with its conventions. All convention’s will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 12 Queen Street W. Toronto.
