Onetime Britpop underdogs still going strong after 21 years. (I still remember purchasing their 1999 album Us And US Only after reading raves reviews in The Guardian and The Times – I didn’t like it, and I was only about 14 at the time, but it was the first album I’d ever bought on the basis of a review. – Brian)

The XX
One of the best British bands around…and, ergo, one of the best new bands in the world.

Holy Fuck
Holy Fuck are out on their Latin tour and will be playing Toronto the same night as The XX. Who do you see?
