Album Review: Oasis – Time Flies 1994-2009

Oasis - Time Flies... 1994-2009Title: Time Flies…1994-2009
Artist: Oasis
Label: Big Brother
Release Date: 14th June 2010
In One Word: Needless

Before I start this album review, I’d like to reassure you all that yes, I am an Oasis fan, yes I have seen them live (12th July 2009, Wembley Stadium and the first time the band had played “Whatever” for ten odd years!) and that yes, Noel is better singer than Liam.

I ask myself the same question whenever Oasis release something: ‘Will it be as good as Definitely Maybe or (What’s the Story?) Morning Glory?’ The answer would probably be no as you can find a copy of Oasis’ last album Dig Out Your Soul in your local record store for about £3 (the cheapest I’ve found it is £1).

So is it really worth buying an album for £8.95 that you’ve got every track of already? No I can’t say it is – you’re better off making a playlist of the tracks on your iPod.

Yes we’ve all heard the songs and even though you say it may not be worth buying, the limited edition with the video clips and their last ever live show is a must for fans…
