I am at Glastonbury with Homegrown Sound, my new project promoting nature through music, and I couldn’t be in a better place – Glastonbury is a paradise of music and nature.

I spent Wednesday at Glastonbury exploring the MASSIVE festival site. Everywhere you look at Glastonbury you are surrounded by nature: the rolling green Somerset fields, gardens and installations throughout the grounds, and so many great green people, including a massive Green Peace presence.

The music kicks off proper on Friday, but the festival is already in full swing.

Here are some photos from day one:

If you have Tumblr or Instagram, be sure to follow Homegrown Sound for more pictures throughout the weekend, and video interviews with the artists coming soon after the festival.

If you’re at Glastonbury, bring your wellies and poncho today – the heavens are set to open within the hour!
