Who: Kevin Myles Wilson
Where: The Central, Toronto
When: Thursday, 8 May 2014
In One Word: Powerful

Central on Markham Street offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere where talented singer-songwriters can be truly appreciated and where they can even sit and pen some new songs before their set.

Opening Central’s Thursday night, as part of the incredible 2014 Canadian Music Week, was 28 year old, Torontonian Kevin Myles Wilson.  Wilson looked completely comfortable as he threw himself in to his acoustic set with perfect aim, playing both new and old tracks from his EPs, “Businessman” and “The Little Things,” introducing each with its own touching or humourous story behind it, proving what a storyteller he is.  Accompanying Wilson on a few songs was friend Trisha Smith, who provided stunning harmonies, highlighting Wilson’s strong lyrics.
